Choose a pattern that works with the whole opening
Look at the entrance from the distance at which visitors first see it. Fine decorative details can read differently from the footpath than they do in a close-up product photograph. Try comparing a restrained design with a more detailed one against the same entrance image. Note whether the existing main door has strong horizontal divisions, a large glazed area or prominent panels. Those features may influence which screen pattern you prefer, without requiring the two doors to be identical. If the brief calls for an accurate reproduction, provide a measured drawing or sample and ask about matching rather than choosing the nearest photograph and assuming it can be altered without discussion.
