TIMBER SCREEN DOORS / NEW SOUTH WALES
Make room for a better welcome in Sydney.
A beautiful door still needs room to work. When planning a Sydney entry, consider the screen’s swing, the main door handle and the space outside the threshold alongside the timber pattern. Send those details with your measurements so the enquiry describes a usable entrance.
Manufactured by Karem Woodcraft in Bayswater, Victoria. Delivery enquiries for Sydney; no local branch or installation service is represented.
PLAN YOUR PROJECT
Plan the clearance before choosing the detail
Map the space that the screen will move through when it opens. A narrow landing, nearby wall, handrail or planter may matter just as much as the width of the reveal. Photograph the entrance with the main door both open and closed, and identify any protruding handles or locks that could meet the screen. Avoid treating a measurement taken from an old door as the final specification: it may have been trimmed or altered. If you are replacing several doors in the same home, identify each opening separately instead of assuming they match. A labelled sketch makes it easier to discuss a coordinated pair of designs while keeping the dimensions distinct.
Your enquiry checklist
- Show the landing and any obstruction in an entrance photograph.
- Record the preferred opening direction for discussion.
- Include a Sydney suburb, postcode and delivery-access notes.
