Timber screen doors for Victoria

A workshop pickup or a Victorian delivery

Our manufacturing workshop is in Bayswater, in Melbourne’s east. That gives Victorian customers two practical starting points: discuss a delivery to the project address, or ask about collecting a completed door. Collection needs to be arranged with the workshop rather than assumed from the online estimate. Give us the finished door size, quantity and a contact number before planning the vehicle or collection day.

For a Melbourne renovation, a regional Victorian home or several doors across one property, identify each opening separately. An older entrance may have a different reveal width at the head, middle and base. A pair of doors also needs a clear configuration brief: tell us which leaf opens first and discuss the meeting arrangement before the finished dimensions are settled. Bring photographs of the existing entrance if retaining its character matters to you.

If your Victorian project is within reach of Bayswater, photographs and a written measurement schedule can make the workshop discussion more productive. Name each opening in the same way on the photos and the size list. Keep your choice of mesh, hinges, latch and finish separate from the timber-door estimate so you can compare the complete project rather than just the frame price.
