TIMBER SCREEN DOORS / TASMANIA
A timber entrance for your Hobart home.
Before ordering a door for Hobart, plan how it will be received, finished and fitted. The timber frame, separate wire mesh and hardware all form part of the finished result. Delivery details should be confirmed for your specific address and order.
Manufactured by Karem Woodcraft in Bayswater, Victoria. Delivery enquiries for Hobart; no local branch or installation service is represented.
PLAN YOUR PROJECT
Allow for the work between delivery and installation
Ask who will be responsible for finishing the timber and fitting the mesh, and make sure those jobs are included in the project schedule. The supplied beading holds the mesh, but mesh itself is not included in the screen-door price. Do not assume a photographed timber colour is the final appearance of the product you will receive; discuss the required finish with the team. When the delivery is arranged, ask how the door should be stored and handled before installation. If you are coordinating with a local fitter, share the approved dimensions and configuration rather than only a link to the design. Keep photographs of the received product before any modification if you need to raise an issue.
Your enquiry checklist
- Arrange a finishing and mesh-fitting plan before installation.
- Confirm delivery arrangements to the Hobart postcode.
- Share the approved specification with the person fitting the door.
