TIMBER SCREEN DOORS / QUEENSLAND
Make screening part of your Cairns door plan.
A timber screen-door frame and its mesh are separate parts of the project. For a Cairns enquiry, tell the team what you intend to fit in the openings and how the entrance will be used. The door is supplied with beading, without wire mesh.
Manufactured by Karem Woodcraft in Bayswater, Victoria. Delivery enquiries for Cairns; no local branch or installation service is represented.
PLAN YOUR PROJECT
Choose the mesh before the final fitting plan
Discuss mesh selection with the person who will fit it and check how it will be retained by the supplied beading. If you have particular requirements for visibility, durability or security, identify them before assuming a material is suitable. The decorative timber frame is not advertised here as a security-rated assembly. Include a photograph of the door reveal, the main entrance door and the handle arrangement so those parts can be considered together. Ask what finishing should be completed before the mesh is installed. When the door is ready, follow the agreed receiving and handling arrangements rather than booking installation around an estimated freight date that has not been confirmed for your address.
Your enquiry checklist
- Record the intended mesh type as a separate project choice.
- State any performance requirement before ordering.
- Confirm delivery service and access for the Cairns destination.
A QUESTION FOR THIS PROJECT
Does the Cairns price include fitting the wire mesh?
Wire mesh is not included in the screen-door supply. The retaining beading is included. Discuss mesh supply, fitting, hardware and finishing with your installer and the team so the full project cost is understood.
