TIMBER SCREEN DOORS / QUEENSLAND
Plan the whole entrance on the Gold Coast.
Before choosing a decorative screen, consider the entrance as a small working space. A main door, screen, handles, closer and any nearby obstruction all need to work together. Your Gold Coast enquiry can include photographs that show that relationship.
Manufactured by Karem Woodcraft in Bayswater, Victoria. Delivery enquiries for Gold Coast; no local branch or installation service is represented.
PLAN YOUR PROJECT
Give the handles and swing space a place in the plan
Open the existing entrance door and look at where the proposed screen would sit. Check the projection of the main handle and identify any object that occupies the screen’s swing path. If the door is under a porch, include the posts, handrails or steps in a wider photograph rather than cropping them out. These are observations for the specification discussion, not instructions to modify the opening yourself. Ask your fitter to confirm clearances and the required hardware. When you enter dimensions into the calculator, make clear whether they describe the reveal or a proposed finished door. The workshop can then review the design and size together instead of receiving a number without context.
Your enquiry checklist
- Photograph handles and the full swing area.
- Tell the team who is confirming fitting clearances.
- Use the actual Gold Coast suburb and postcode for freight.
A QUESTION FOR THIS PROJECT
Does the price include mesh and a closer?
Beading is included, but wire mesh is not. Hardware and finishing requirements should be confirmed with the quote; do not assume a closer or handle is included simply because one appears in a styled photograph.
